mionixnaos7000_0Leonardo da Vinci expressed, “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication,” and there is nothing more intuitive about this design than its simplicity. Some of you may prefer the convenience of a multi-button functionality that is required for some games. But if you use a mouse for more than just gaming, having additional buttons is a mixed bag. Swedish in origin, Mionix released a new NAOS model that continues this simple ergonomic design that is still a strong tool for gamers. There is an understanding that with this sleek, sophistication, the performance of the device matters more than its peripherals. Allowing for all five fingers to rest comfortable on the mouse, it possess two thumb buttons, standard left and right mouse buttons, a middle mouse button that doubles as a scrolling wheel, and two other middle buttons below that wheel itself. All of these buttons are programmable.

By default for non-gaming usage, the two thumb buttons operate as a “Back” and “Forward” shortcut for web-browsing, the middle wheel can be clicked for free-scrolling, and the two additional middle buttons control cursor speed. Speaking of cursor speed, the optical sensor of this mouse is gamer graded to provide accuracy to the smallest twitch of movement. And while this is definitely key for gamers, being pin-point accurate has helped with accomplishing various multimedia tasks on the fly. The grip of the mouse is balanced between strong and soft, while staying lightweight overall.  The mouse is designed with easy glide mouse feet, so you won’t have to worry about wearing down the bottom of the mouse, and it will still move smoothly across flat surfaces.
